Meanwhile, the new picture comes after we revealed how the Newcastle-born star has been commissioned to front a hard-hitting documentary for Channel 4 called Vicky Pattison: My Dad, Alcohol and Me.

In it she will discuss her father John’s battle with booze as she was growing up. She is now around the same age that he was when his addictions took hold.

In the show, being made by Firecracker Films, Vicky will look into whether there’s a genetic link involved in alcoholism.

She will also undergo medical screening to find out if her own life-style has done irreparable damage to her body, and learn how our genes and behaviour can lead to a susceptibility to addictive behaviour.

A source told The Sun: “Vicky started out on TV as a party girl but as she’s got older she’s realised how complicated her relationship with alcohol is and has been.

“Growing up she saw the dark side of alcohol addiction first hand so she wants to understand the struggles her family went through.

“She has seen the results that drinking alcohol has on her own behaviour and freely admits that she does not like who she is when she is drunk.

Seeing herself being aggressive and angry has shown her a side to herself that she does not like.”

TELLING HER STORY

Vicky said: “As many people know by now, I have always been extremely honest about my life, but this is a story I’ve been wanting to tell for years and I finally feel ready. I’m hoping to find answers to some questions I’ve been asking for my entire life and I hope it will go on to help thousands of others too.

Just last month Vicky told The Sun how drink had taken over her life and she needed therapy because she felt “lost and alone” after she won I’m A Celebrity.
