IF you’ve been attempting to sell your unwanted clothes on online marketplace Vinted but aren’t getting very far, an expert has come to your rescue.
Emma Sendall, who goes by the name ‘Queen of Vinted’, said she has the tried and tested formula to make sure the unwanted items from your wardrobe always go to a new home.

She took to her TikTok account @emmasendall to share her top three tips to fellow second hand sellers.
As she went through the list, Emma said that it would help those struggling to shift their collection.
Lifting the lid on how she does it, Emma said: “Number one – have lots and lots and lots of really high-quality, well-lit photos of the thing that you’re selling.
“It’s better that someone can see too much of it than not be able to see enough.”

Once you’ve mastered the images, Emma said the words are equally as important.
She continued: “Use as many descriptive words as you possibly can.
“Say for example I wanted to sell these denim shorts – I could put, ‘high-waisted denim shorts.
“Or I could put, ‘high-waisted, vintage, retro, cut off, denim, distressed shorts.’

“Think of the words that someone would say if they were searching for something similar or the same as what you are trying to sell.”
Emma’s third and final tip to her social media following was to carefully consider how much you’re asking for.
She said: “Have a think whether your price is too high.
“Have a look at other people who are selling things that are the same as what you are selling.

“If there are others for £3 or £4 less than what yours is priced at, nobody is going to buy yours.”
Once Emma shared the post, others thanked her for her expertise and said they would follow suit.
