Chad Everett Gilbert is an American musician and record producer. He is a founding member of the rock group New Found Glory, with whom he plays lead guitar, accompanies and composes music. He was also the lead vocalist on the band's now defunct side project, International Superheroes of Hardcore. Additionally, Gilbert was the frontman of the fastidious punk band Shai Hulud from 1995 to 1998 and from 2012 to 2013. Gilbert has produced records including albums of Nothing to Prove and A Day to Remember, Homesick, What Separates Me from You and Common courtesy. In 2010, Gilbert announced that he would be releasing a solo documentary online for free, and also released a number of demos and 7 "vinyls under the name What's Eat Gilbert .
